About Us

Our Story

For Sleep 180, our journey began with a simple idea: to fix the problems caused by fatigue for truck drivers. Dealing with strict driving rules took up a lot of time and energy, and so did calculating distances and finding rest stops. Travis Kennedy, our founder, spent many nights in frustration. He searched for parking spots and often settled for abandoned lots or off-ramps, which left his bed at noticeable angles. The repetitive process of setting up bedding, only to rearrange it at each stop, led him to question why a solution hadn’t been invented. After all, semi trucks are full of current technology, so why couldn’t there be a solution for better sleep?

Addressing the Root Cause

Travis’s firsthand experiences as a truck driver inspired the development of our mattress leveling system. He wanted to address the problem from a different angle; improve sleep quality instead of relying on methods for staying awake.

Our solution is aimed at giving truck drivers the comfort and rest they deserve. No longer do drivers have to rely on caffeine pills or energy drinks to fight fatigue. With Sleep 180, drivers can rest easy on the road at the touch of a button. It ensures they wake up refreshed and ready to start their day.

Travis has 22 years of experience working as a long haul and regional truck driver. He has spent many uncomfortable nights sleeping in trucks. Often, he would pull off the highway after hours of driving. But, he would find the only parking spots left left his bed at uncomfortable angles. Travis discovered there were no products to help truck drivers sleep better, and this inspired him to create the Sleep 180 mattress leveling system.
